And I suppose you didn't appreciate my Justin Timberlake and Justin Bieber posts? Perhaps I should start my own blog, "this justin", to follow their respective careers?

Hey, I've been busy the past few days going back 3 years to that Cardinals' tour. If people want to hear how Magnolia Mountain and Peaceful Valley really should sound.... [which are not new Hunter tunes in the Furthur setlist, but older Ryan Adams' compositions]

Well at least you're not calling it Justin Time, so that's something.

I linked Micah to Joan Osborne doing a standout Magnolia Mountain with Phil and Friends the other day. Did you catch that?

Nope - will go back and check that out. Thanks.

I like Joan - she played with the Funk Bros here a few years back and it was quite good.

I absolutely can not get enough of the clip of Joan and The Funk Brothers doing What Becomes of the Broken Hearted. Totally majestic.

Absolutley right there with you on this Rob.
I have seen the DVD of Joan performing with the funk brothers and she is amazing. I'm not too crazy about her own songs for the most part, but I really like her singing on alot of the covers she does. "Broken Hearted" is especially tasty. Your link the other day led me to some other youtube stuff of hers that I had not seen before.
Really like the version she did of the Hall & Oates' song, Sara Smile. The woman has an incredible set of pipes!!

Be careful what you ask for.

Ah well, I just noticed I'm late to the game. Anyhow, anyone who sings 'Dick in a Box' on TV is OK by me.

The guy has a great sense of humor, is talented, and doesn't take him too self seriously. Kudos to him - but I'll pass on the inevitable boy band reunion. Take That!

i'll second that one. he was actually ok in that movie alpha dog too. you know, as much as i cant stand that music, and i'm also pretty sure that he's wearing that because vintage rock shirts are in vogue these days ( they always have some cool ones at target ), there's something about him that seems to make me thnk he's probably pretty cool.
